We are proud to share that our school has been running a Student & Family Boutique to support families in need, providing FREE essential items with care and dignity. 💙 — thanks to the amazing efforts of the Parent and Family Engagement Department, led by Ms. P. Mata, and Communities In Schools, under the direction of Ms. D. Acosta

Congratulations to Christen's Do the Write Thing finalists.
LISD, Congressman Henry Cuellar, Uni-Trade Group and the City of Laredo provided a festive send-off to L.J. Christen Middle School 7th grade student Santiago Cardenas. Santiago is traveling to our nation’s capital today where he was invited by our United States Representative Henry Cuellar to serve as Congressman for a Day. Traveling with Santiago is his mother, Stephanie Cardenas and his godmother/madrina Monica Alejandra Lopez. A special thank you to Congressman Cuellar, CEO of the Uni-Trade Group, el Licenciado Eduardo A. Garza Robles and Ray and Betsy Sanchez from Smiles from Heaven who have a made this trip possible.
