The J.W. Nixon High School Cheerleaders were visited by
Dr. Marcus Nelson during the holidays.   The cheerleaders received a 2nd place trophy and were awarded the Best in Stunts Award.  Congratulations to all the girls and their sponsor, Mrs. A. Lerma.
 
Congratulations to the following students who competed at the United High School U.I.L. competition this past weekend:

Tutorials are being held from Monday through Thursday in the areas of ELA and Math.
